At for your questions For either I would recommend a minimum of 1GB of ram. If you really can't afford it, however, 1GB will let you run things well enough on Home Premium.

Another thing to note is processor speed. You're going to want a dual core processor. For a dual core processor, I would recommend a speed of at least 1.
